Zoom World.

 One of the problems we have now that we live in Zoom world, is the flagrant self-promotion that exists by its participants.  Much the way it is used on Facebook.  People who appear on talk shows have at least one. sometimes two copies of their new books on prominent display on their bookshelves behind them.  Over the last two days, two reporters on MSNBC appeared, one on "Morning Joe" and the other on Joy Reid's show were interviewed in their homes with their Emmy's in prominent display on their bookshelves.  I know we have much bigger problems than this, but it all seems rather cheeky to me.  And the hosts of these shows never call them out on this.  They all get a pass.  I guess I'm just a little too cranky these days.  Don't mind me.
