Report Card---"The Hate U Give".

"The Hate U Give" is a very difficult movie for me to speak about intelligently.
It speaks to a black audience, of which I'm not one of.
It's one of those "White Cops beating up and killing blacks."
I feel like I've heard it all before.
Blacks most likely feel like they can't hear about it often enough.
I don't say this kind of thing about most movies I see.
Or even most movies I see geared for black audiences.
I'm just saying.

Is it interesting?

I'm still not  sure where it takes place.  Apparently a fictionalized black city area.
